The Orco valley: Noasca – Gran Piano hunting lodge – Losere lakes – Nivolet road
The mule track unfolds along the left slopes of the Orco Valley, starting from before the town of Noasca and proceeding along provincial road S.P. 460 towards Ceresole Reale. After a series of hairpin bends that climb up through a larch wood, the track reaches the Gran Piano hunting lodge (2222 m). From here, it climbs gently up to the Roc valley, whence it proceeds uphill to reach the Colle della Porta (3002 m). The final portion of the itinerary passes through the high pasture land above Ceresole Reale and, after skirting the small Losere lakes, reaches the Nivolet road, S.P. 50.
